Nicole Bryant, Community Leader Has The Answer To Urban Tragedies in Baltimore

Published

on

Driving in the city of Baltimore can be a disturbing site for some. Violence, chaos, abuse, pain, and drugs are some of the many things you encounter when being in Baltimore. Some people may be scared while others look to make a positive change. Nicole Bryant, community leader believes her vision to bring the best out of others can be the difference that Baltimore needs. Yet, Nicole did not always plan to be as impactful as she is now. It all started from a life-changing moment that changed her perspective on life completely.

Nicole lost two nephews whom she was actively involved with to tragic accidents. One nephew choked from his bottle causing him to aspirate and one due to a fentanyl overdose. Immediately, Nicole’s life changed drastically. Thoughts constant going through her head such as:” How could this happen? What led to this? How could I have done better? Can I possibly lose other close family or friends?” As the thoughts entered her mind her passion for making a change for others that can possibly struggle from drug addictions or overdoses became a daily quest for her to accomplish. Nicole’s experiences with drugs did not stop her from losing her nephews, she battled witnessing her father and sister battle drug addictions. In fact, she lost over 6 close friends and family members due to traumatic urban community activities that left her very depressed. She knew she wanted to help others and used her fuel of hurt to become a passionate outlet that could help others.

Early on in life Nicole is the youngest in her family but is looked upon as the oldest and the protector. Her entire life she sought to be loving, supportive, and caring to anyone she came across therefore everyone always catered to her inviting energy. Currently, she is a loving mother of 3, a successful entrepreneur and now she is launching a nonprofit “We Responders Inc.”  with a mission to save lives by providing knowledge and awareness on how to render aid in most emergency situations. Her organization is designed for a community of responders that’s ready and willing to render aid whenever is needed.

Although many of us promotes “Stop the Violence” and “Put the guns down”. The reality is that people will be Shot and killed. So let’s provide our community (the true first responders) with the awareness and knowledge needed to render aid to anyone who has been shot ,stabbed or experiencing an overdose. With great appreciation for our paramedics. Truth is, it may take up to 7 to 10 minutes for them to arrive. And most times, we don’t have 7 to 10 minutes. With the appropriate knowledge we can save more lives. So let’s build a community of responders. And let start now. s we try to cease gun violence, the reality is that it happening every day. My goal is to provide as much knowledge to the real first responders, which is everyone of you. Often we panic in these frightening situations because we lack the knowledge and confidence to render aid in these situations.

We Responders Inc. is offering:

  • CPR 1st Aid
  • Stop the bleeding training
  • Violence in a workplace
  • Active shooter training
  • Infant training
