According to WJZ, the home of Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) was burglarized last weekend in Baltimore.
Baltimore Police say the burglary was reported on Saturday, July 27 around 3:40 a.m. at the home located on the 2000 block of Madison Avenue.
Police say it is unknown at this time of any property was taken from the home.
FOX News reported that the break-in “occurred in a portion of the property which Cummings rents, not the part in which he resides.”
Sources told FOX News that Cummings was not at home during the time of the burglary.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
A couple of hours after the report was made, President Trump went on Twitter criticizing Cummings and the City of Baltimore.
Rep, Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous. His district is considered the Worst in the USA……
