Road to ESSENCE Festival of Culture is coming to D.C. this weekend!
I know many people love ESSENCE Magazine. As they prepare for the 2022 ESSENCE Festival in New Orleans, LA, ESSENCE will be stopping by Gateway DC this Saturday, June 11th from 12-4 pm for Road to ESSENCE Festival of Culture: DC. This fun, free afternoon is filled with just a taste of what is going to serving in NOLA for the ESSENCE Festival of Culture. The 3- city tour is designed to spotlight and introduce a taste of ESSENCE Festival of Culture through programming that highlights key Festival experiences with conversations, musical performances & more. Each city stop will serve as the experience’s secret sauce as we celebrate the cultural roots that make that city especially unique.
The event is sponsored by AT&T, Ford, McDonald’s, Target, The Walt Disney Group, & UnitedHealth Group. Attendees can expect so thought-provoking panels covering topics ranging from Community Building, The Impact of Social Media on our Mental Health, The Power of Sisterhood, and MORE!
