Roc Writah ready to heat the summer up; Drops freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “We Cry Together”

Published

Roc Writah aka Baltimore’s Detonator is back to set the summer off with his freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “We Cry Together.”

The aggression is noticeable from the beginning with the tone set by his hypeman Tre in the video. (check out his podcast SmokinWitTre)

Writah introduces himself from the east side of Baltimore and then wastes no time finding his flow. He gleams with confidence the whole time while giving listeners bars that will want make them put on the nasty face.

“My mind clear, I’m fine here

Just needed an alignment

My dick needed a Heimlich

I’m not gon justify it

for Pfizer going on my skin

I’m top 10

fuck ya list

I’ma top 5

no top 3

I’m out of favors if you ask me”

Roc Writah

As the song progresses, he shows glimpses of his storytelling skills, along with smooth wordplay.

The growth with him is constant. This freestyle is just a warmup for Roc Writah, just wait until his next single drops. It would only be right for him to keep the heat coming for the summer.

For now, fans’ appetites should be pleased.  Roc Writah shows no signs of slowing down and this is an artist I suggest you watch closely.

True rap fans will appreciate this because it isn’t gimmick rap, this isn’t about making a dance or two lines from a song go viral on Tik Tok, this is all about the love for rap and showcasing your skills on the mic.
