School Bus Collision in Anne Arundel County Causes Lane Closures
Several lanes were shut down in Anne Arundel County following a collision involving a school bus transporting elementary school students and another vehicle on Monday morning. AACPS officials reported that the school bus was ferrying three children to Maryland City Elementary School when the accident occurred on Maryland Route 198 near Center Avenue.
Fortunately, none of the children sustained injuries in the collision, and they were all safely picked up by their parents, according to AACPS officials. The school district is actively arranging for another bus to pick up children from the affected stops. The current condition of the other vehicle’s driver remains unclear.
