If you are hosting an event, decorations are important being that they set the atmosphere of the party. Decorations serve as one of the highlights of the event and give it the feel for the occasion. It is definitely an important area where someone wants to put a lot of focus on when planning an event such as a party, wedding, cookout, networking event, etc. Decorations will certainly help and thus making the event look grand and memorable.

As we continue to put the spotlight on businesses across the DMV.  Today, I shed the spotlight on a luxury balloon decor company called 905Celebrations.  905Celebrations was created by a young entrepreneur named Lexie who is a certified balloon stylist. She specializes in Luxury Balloon Decor, Gift Filled Balloons & More.

Q: When did you start your business?

Lexie: I started 905 during the pandemic of 2020

Q: Why did you decide to become a business owner?

Lexie: I’ve always been two things. A LEADER, AND A CREATOR. Creating is my passion.

Q: What was your mission at the start of your company?

Lexie: My mission is to provide top-quality balloon decor. To bring magic and celebration to every event.

Q: What services or products do you offer?

Lexie: Luxury balloon decor Setups, Customized photo backdrops, Gift filled stuffed balloons, All year round “Romantic Hotel Set-Ups”, and 101 Balloon Classes

Q: What are your company’s goals?

Lexie: My goal is to be a storefront, provide balloon decor to Major companies, to have my work showcased in commercials and movies, colleges, etc.

Q: What made you choose to start a company in this industry?

Lexie: Creating is my passion and balloons is my outlet, it brings me joy, knowing I created something to make someone else happy.

Q: What is unique about your company?

Lexie: I’ve always been a teacher. I am an open book when it comes to helping someone else succeed. I believe there is room for everyone at the top. But also trusting my craft and there is only one of me.

Q: What is your biggest challenge as a business owner?

Lexie: Trusting that my journey is “MY” journey. Looking at social media, my constant question is how long is it gonna take me to get to where that stylist is. Realizing I have to sit back and walk this path specifically designed for me.
