Movies on the Potomac Will Return to the National Harbor

Movies on the Potomac, a family, and audience favorite, is returning to the National Harbor.

From May 1 through September 30, the series will be broadcast. Every Thursday at 7 p.m. will be “date night,” and every Sunday at 6 p.m. will be “family night.”

The films will be shown on the waterfront’s “Plaza Screen,” and customers are encouraged to order takeaway from the different restaurants that surround the plaza.

Each month, a different movie topic is chosen.

May is animal movies:

  • Must Love Dogs (Date night)
  • Babe (Family night)
  • 101 Dalmatians (Family night)
  • The Secret Life of Pets (Family night)

June is travel movies:

  • The Bucket List (Date night)
  • The Terminal (Date night)
  • Crazy Rich Asians (Date night)
  • Under the Tuscan Sun (Date night)
  • The Parent Trap (Family night)
  • Hotel Transylvania 3 (Family night)
  • Are We There Yet (Family night)
  • The Great Outdoors (Family night)

July food movies:

  • Julie & Julia (Date night)
  • The Hundred-Foot Journey (Date night)
