1. I played 2 years of college basketball at Carnegie Mellon.

2. I met Umar bin Hassan from the Last Poets at my job & I had to jump out the window and give him my CD.  But he ended up liking it & we worked together, so, if you’re gonna risk your job, you better be dope!

Favorite pre studio traditions? 
I always grab a big bottle of water from a gas station.  Why?  Just a habit.
Pre performance traditions? 

I just pray for a good performance & practice, practice, practice.

Top five biggest musical influences?

Nas, Jay, Tupac, Biggie, & the Soulquarians.

Define the music industry 

It’s a corporate industry in America.  Meaning that everything comes down to the bottom line.  The record labels, streaming companies, etc. are in business to make the biggest margins they can from the artists’ music.  So they want to pay us the smallest amount possible.  Once you understand that, you know how you should move.

Artists and media personalities you like to work with more?

Man, I definitely want to do some interviews with @PatIsDope & @TheMediaPrince.  As far as artists, I want to get in the studio with Wale, Goldlink, Chaz French, Noochie, Glizzy, pretty much anybody who is nice.
