37-year-old man hospitalized after Baltimore shooting, according to police

A 37-year-old man was shot on Wednesday, and detectives are looking into the incident, according to Baltimore Police.

Around 10:43 a.m., a driver pulled up next to a Southwest District officer on patrol in the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue and informed him that a passenger in his car had been shot, according to the police.

An unknown passenger, age 37, was taken to a hospital for treatment. There was no immediate word on his health.

Police have not yet pinpointed the specific location of the incident, and no other information was given in a news release.
