Man arrested for making threats of mass violence against Charles County elementary school
A Lexington Park man has been threatening mass violence at an elementary school and a local business. The suspect called Gale-Bailey Elementary School and a business in White Plains, making multiple threats of mass violence, the police said.
Charles County Sheriff’s officers have caught and arrested 46-year-old Earl Benjamin Washington of Lexington Park after a manhunt that ended in St. Mary’s County.
Additional officers will be at the school this week. The investigation is ongoing.
