Prince George’s County schools are providing students with free summer lunches
From June 27 through August 12, students in Prince George’s County can receive free summer meals at certain library branches.
Children up to the age of 18 will be able to get nutritious meals thanks to a partnership between the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System and the Prince George’s County Public Schools.
At one of the following Prince George’s County libraries, you can get a free lunch:
- Beltsville: from 12 to 1 p.m.
- Hyattsville, New Carrollton: from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
- Spauldings, Glenarden, Fairmount Heights, Hillcrest Heights, and Oxon Hill from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Due to COVID-19 conditions, this event’s status, location, or format may change. As registration does not ensure entry, participation is authorized on a first-come, first-served basis. Only the weekdays offer free meals.
