A man was killed in a double shooting in East Baltimore

According to authorities, a man was killed in a double shooting in East Baltimore on Thursday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of East Monument Street at 5:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. They discovered a man who had been shot many times. At Johns Hopkins Hospital, he was pronounced dead.

A second victim was discovered with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound a few blocks away on the 500 block of Montford Avenue, according to police.

Homicide investigators are looking into the incident and urging anyone with information to call (410) 396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
