Baltimore Adult High School Exceeds Expectations, Providing Opportunities for Residents

Published

on

An adult high school recently established in Baltimore is surpassing expectations, offering a significant opportunity for the estimated 80,000 residents without a high school diploma in the city.

The Goodwill Baltimore Excel Center, which opened its doors late last year, has quickly reached maximum capacity within just three months. To accommodate the high demand, day classes have been extended until 6 PM.

This initiative addresses barriers that hinder many individuals from completing their education. With term three underway, adults aged 21 and above can enroll in the program, funded by Goodwill and the state of Maryland, to complete the necessary coursework and earn their high school diploma.
