Montgomery Police have armed suspect in custody who caused school lockdown
Montgomery County Police stated that Clarksburg High School and Rocky Mill Middle School in Montgomery County, Maryland, are on lockdown Wednesday due to a report of an armed suspect in the vicinity.
The distance between the two schools is less than a mile.
MCPD Spokeswoman Sheira Goff informed 7News that police are unable to confirm the individual’s location. Police are also attempting to confirm “several texts” they have received.
According to 7News reporter Kevin Lewis, police teams are combing the two campuses to ensure the suspect is not present in either.

Police from Montgomery County have arrived on the site. As more information becomes available, authorities will provide updates to the public.
