New KID Museum opens in Bethesda Metro Center
A new location has opened for a museum dedicated to expanding and exciting the brains of children. The KID Museum has relocated to the Bethesda Metro Center, where it now occupies a 28,000-square-foot space.
The museum, which is geared toward children aged 4 to 14, focuses on hands-on learning in areas such as computing, robotics, electronics, carpentry, and engineering design.
The museum thinks that by teaching children new abilities in STEM, they will be able to invent the future. Throughout the year, the museum will host a range of seminars and camps that are open to the public.
On Sundays, the KID Museum is open to the public, with admission available on their website.
Over 100,000 visitors are expected in the coming year, according to officials.
