The DMV Daily had the pleasure of speaking with D2R records very own Yung-Trav aka “D2R Yung-Trav “ from Southeast, Washington DC. Yung-Trav had a great 2020 year run with the release of 3 projects and countless videos including “M2S “ video shot by sideshovisonz. Not to mention, the D.C. native also released na EP called “ Welcome To The SideSho“ which got over 68k streams on Spotify. Although Yung-Trav has no major help or pushes, he’s trusting the process in hopes 2021 will be full of blessings to further his career so far his music is unique and different from the other DMV artist. Q: Tell us about your chosen career path: 

Yung Trav: I have been rapping since 2012. Also, traveled all over the place like Vegas, Utah, Tennessee, Kansas City, LA, Atlanta, New York, and more but it’s been a long crazy process just being patient at this point in hopes something good changes

Q: Who inspired you to make the decision to do this career path?

Yung Trav: The money really, I know the music industry is filled with it you can make some real money in it

Q: What is your creative process like?

Yung Trav: I need a Capone & some lemon water or sometimes I can have a lil’ drink depending on my mood and I go in and freestyle 

Q: Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Yung Trav: Lil Gotit, Lil KEED, No Cap, Rylo, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, & NBA Youngboy

Q: What is one message you would give to your supports?

Yung Trav: Just keep believing in me if u do and just support me I make good music if u just check me out

Q: What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your chosen career?

Yung Trav: Probably trying to make some money really lol

Q: How would you say Social Media has impacted your career?

Yung Trav: Met lots of people and met people on there to pay for promotion to get my music heard I reached a lot of people thru promo so it impacted me well

Q: Who do you admire the most? Why?

Yung Trav: Being able to travel the world and have lots of money because I wanna have financial freedom and be able to go somewhere peaceful and relax

Q: What is the best advice you’ve been given?

Yung Trav:  “People force things cause they want them to happen on their time but the universe has its clock. trust the process and let it go of control

Q: What’s next for you?

Yung Trav: Man if the universe works in my favor I hope and pray that I am blessed with abundance and a successful rap career I been going at for a while and I want to sum good streaming money along with it
