The Washington Wizards fell 132-111 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night, extending their losing streak to 15 games.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 40 points, leading the Thunder to secure their 11th straight win.
Washington struggled to slow Gilgeous-Alexander, who consistently found room to operate offensively.
The game’s momentum shifted late in the first half when four players were ejected after a scuffle.
Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams and Washington’s Justin Champagnie began shoving each other after a Wizards basket with 27 seconds left in the second quarter.
Players from both teams quickly rushed into the scrum, which spilled into the stands and knocked over a cameraman.
After the delay, both teams regrouped and finished the half.
Despite the disruption caused by the scuffle, the Wizards remained competitive, but Oklahoma City held a 69-64 lead at halftime.
Washington’s offense maintained a strong pace, led by scoring from its young core.
Bilal Coulibaly scored 21 points, and Bub Carrington added 19 for Washington.
Both players provided energy on offense as Washington worked to keep the game close.
For Oklahoma City, Isaiah Hartenstein recorded 20 rebounds, 10 assists, and 9 points.
Chet Holmgren added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jared McCain scored 18 points.

With 9:12 left in the third quarter, the Wizards trailed by one, 73-72.
The turning point came at the end of the third quarter when Gilgeous-Alexander hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to put Oklahoma City ahead 103-96.
Oklahoma City opened the fourth quarter on a 15-0 run, led by Holmgren and McCain.
Washington froze offensively during the stretch, missing the first 10 shots of the quarter.
The Wizards never got closer than 16 points for the rest of the game.
The defeat continued a rough stretch for Washington, as the team was still searching for momentum.
Before the game, Washington announced that Trae Young is dealing with a bruised right quadriceps and lower back irritation, with no estimated return.
When asked about how the Wizards progress, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander said, “I honestly think they’re on the right path. They have guys that like, we saw tonight, they have guys that just compete, and I think that’s the first thing.”
The Wizards look to regroup as they begin a five-game road trip in New York on Sunday, while the Thunder continue their road trip in Philadelphia on Monday.
