Highbridge’s Lil Rekk lives up to his nickname with ‘1ONE’ mixtape + “PTSD” video

Highbridge’s very own Lil Rekk has dope hooks, influential lyrics with a hardcore delivery. Between growing up as the only boy out of 10 sisters, living in different cities along the east coast, and being known in his hood as one of the talented onto make it out, the 22-year-old does not take his individuality for granted. Keeping his foot on the pedestal, Lil Rekk is ready to prove why his city gave him the nickname 1ONE, sharing his mixtape.

Over the course of 12 tracks, including a feature with 42 Dugg, 1ONEspeaks to Lil Rekk’s desire to win despite the odds that were once against him. For every upbeat banger on the 12-track project, there’s a moment of self-analysis and wisdom. Rekk reflects on the risky measures he took to care for his family on tracks like “Acting Strange” and “Outta Control,” while “So Bipolar” details a rocky relationship with a significant other. 1ONE is available everywhere via Highbridge The Label/EMPIRE.

In addition to dropping 1ONE, Lil Rekk shares the visual for “PTSD.” Over mellowing guitar chords and airy ad-libs, Rekk romanticizes his pain and credits his experiences for shaping him into who he is today. Directed by Watsynfilmz (Method Man, Tee Grizzley, etc.), the visual finds Rekk engaging with a high-energy crowd and glimpses of the Philly rapper staying alert as he cruises through the city. “PTSD” follows Rekk’s recent visuals for “Confetti,” a 4 Shooters Only live performance, and loyalty anthems Time and Ooters,”

Be sure to take a listen to Lil Rekk’s latest project 1One and check out the visuals to his song “PTSD“.
