Man Shot Multiple Times, Dies From Injuries In Northwest D.C.
MPD is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Friday night in Northeast D.C. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene shortly before 11:45 p.m. at the 1700 block of Benning Road NE, where they discovered 45-year-old Darryl Williams, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts, Williams succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
MPD urges anyone with pertinent information to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or utilize the department’s tip line by texting 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those accountable for this tragic incident.
