One Man Dead After Northeast D.C. Shooting

A man died in a fatal shooting in Northeast DC on Monday night, according to DC Police, and a woman is in jail.

Around 11:53 p.m., a shooting happened inside a home in the 4800 block of North Capitol Street NE.

On the scene, the adult male victim was pronounced dead. An adult female is being held in custody.

It is yet unknown whether or not this was a domestic incident.
