A documentary titled ‘Sub Eleven Seconds’ will feature track star Sha’Carri Richardson’s journey to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics berth. The documentary will be released at the 2022 Sundance Festival.

Last year Richardson caught fire and had people awed over her 10.72 second time at the Olympic trials. She quickly became a favorite to win in the Olympics but the momentum came down as she received a one-month ban for testing positive for marijuana.

Award-winning artist and filmmaker Bafic directed the documentary. The late celebrity designer Virgil Abloh also was an executive producer of the film. Richardson gave the world a sneak peek of the upcoming documentary on her Twitter.

Ashton Horne is an upcoming writer who currently resides in Harford County. He currently interns for TheDMVDaily as a journalist.
