2010 rookie of the year Tyreke Evans has officially been reinstated by the National Basketball Association and the National Basketball Players Association.

Evans had been banned since 2019 and last played for the Indiana Pacers. Evans met the requirements which included being tested weekly for 12 months prior to submission for his application according to Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee.

At 32-years-old he could prove to be a reliable veteran once his condition is back on par with the NBA speed. For his career, he has appeared in 594 games averaging 15.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

Evans is allowed to start negotiating with teams immediately and can sign a contract at noon on Friday, the league stated.
