Visionary Styling With Khambrel

Visionary stylist Vinrelo and renowned fashion expert Khambrel are redefining creative partnerships in the fashion industry. Their journey, rooted in innovative styling and conceptualizing, has led to a series of groundbreaking collaborations that fuse style, business, and storytelling.

Their connection was first established at the Fried Rice event in Soho, where Vinrelo recognized Khambrel’s distinctive style and content curation. This meeting sparked a collaboration that would soon influence high-profile projects and exclusive fashion experiences.

When Vinrelo produced the Pick Me Up music video for Luna Gray on Vevo, time was limited, with less than two weeks to curate the entire production, from securing venues to selecting designers and staff. Remembering Khambrel’s exceptional aesthetic, Vinrelo personally selected him for the project, ensuring his placement and contribution to the creative vision.

Khambrel’s eye for detail was showcased through a standout second look, a denim Barbie doll dress, captured in exclusive backhouse content. Their synergy continued at the Made by Mena event in September, where Vinrelo interviewed Khambrel, sharing insights about his influence in fashion styling.

A week before New York Fashion Week, the two reconnected, setting the stage for Khambrel to style Vinrelo for the prestigious event. This collaboration solidified their creative partnership, with Vinrelo curating a special styling opportunity that showcased Khambrel’s phenomenal work.

Vinrelo reflects on their journey: “For me, this is a long awakening, because we met probably over a year ago, and I saw his work. You know, sometimes when you meet people, you want to rush a project, you want to collab right away versus taking the time to nurture and get to know their brand. And for me, it was very important once I saw his style and clothing, I knew that it wasn’t just about sustainability, but about storytelling. As a visionary, I love to tell stories, so I knew combining my style with what he could bring to the table was essential. The timing is right on point, and this is going to be something the industry needs to understand going forward.”

Khambrel adds: “I think the alignment just made sense, understanding people’s energies, really connecting, taking that time to gravitate toward new things, new ideas, new limits. And when there are no limits, you still have to make time for figuring out those goals and aspects.”

On the styling process, Khambrel shares: “Given that she was really going for that flare style, new patterns, my vision behind it was not just pattern making but another element of elevation. ‘Springing’ this pattern gives a lot of spring energy, and it’s double-sided, so I had to decide whether to go on the light or dark end. Since it’s about to be March, I wanted to showcase what spring looks like while still incorporating dark passions. You see that black with the gold resemblance, the pattern is insane. I also drew inspiration from Scooby-Doo, tapping into that ’70s, ’50s, ’60s flair, openness to new color, new pattern, new style, new trend.”

Looking ahead, Vinrelo will be unveiling their collaboration in her highly anticipated, visionary series Fashion Therapy, premiering on YouTube. This project will push the boundaries of styling, detailing, and visionary conceptualizing, offering exclusive insights into their creative process.

As they continue to elevate the industry, their next step is taking these collaborations to professional business platforms like LinkedIn, ensuring their impact extends beyond fashion into strategic brand positioning.
