Man Used Disguise To Secretly Record Women at Montgomery County Gyms

A 44-year-old Takoma Park man, Tshikundi Taty, was arrested after police say he disguised himself as a woman to secretly record women inside gym locker rooms across Montgomery County. Authorities say the investigation began on Oct. 10, when a woman at One Life Fitness in Germantown reported someone entering the women’s locker room and recording her in the shower. Detectives later learned Taty had been dressing as a woman to enter gyms, filming victims, and then removing his disguise to leave unnoticed.
On Wednesday, police followed Taty to Planet Fitness in White Oak, where he was again found inside the women’s locker room in disguise. He was quickly taken into custody and booked at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
