Hype 4 Life Foundation Expands Autism Advocacy Through Community, Care, and Culture

In a time where awareness alone is no longer enough, the Hype 4 Life Foundation is building something deeper—an ecosystem of support, visibility, and tangible resources for families navigating autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Founded by brothers Brian Burns and Stanley McClover Jr., the 501(c)(3) nonprofit is rooted in lived experience and driven by a mission that extends far beyond surface-level advocacy.

The foundation’s origin is deeply personal. Stanley McClover Jr., a father of a nonverbal autistic son, transformed his family’s journey into a broader call to action. What began as a response to a gap in resources has grown into a multi-layered initiative focused on education, community-building, and long-term impact. A recent milestone—his son beginning to speak—has only intensified that mission, serving as both inspiration and proof of what consistent care and support can unlock.

Hype 4 Life approaches autism awareness with intention. Rather than limiting its work to campaigns, the foundation actively promotes understanding through community outreach initiatives, educational programming, and the strategic use of national platforms, including sports and media. By leveraging visibility tied to figures like Brian Burns, the foundation brings conversations about autism into spaces that don’t always engage with it—broadening both reach and relevance.

While awareness is essential, the foundation recognizes that families need more than information—they need guidance. Hype 4 Life connects caregivers with navigational resources for care and therapy options, builds community networks for shared support, and provides referrals to trusted services. This focus on infrastructure—creating systems that families can rely on—positions the organization as more than a nonprofit; it becomes a consistent source of support.

Community engagement also plays a central role in sustaining the foundation’s work. On May 30, 2026, the Brian Burns Celebrity Softball Game will take place at Clover Stadium in Pomona, New York, bringing together athletes and public figures for a cause that extends far beyond the field. Later in the summer, from July 24–26, 2026, the Autism Dads Getaway Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia will provide a rare and necessary space for fathers raising children with autism to connect, recharge, and build community. These events not only raise funds but reinforce the foundation’s commitment to creating shared experiences that strengthen families.

Looking ahead, one of the foundation’s most ambitious initiatives is the development of its first equine therapy ranch in Atlanta, led by Stanley McClover Jr. Designed as a safe and supportive environment, the ranch will offer equine-assisted therapy alongside water safety training and other therapeutic experiences. The long-term vision is to expand access to these services nationwide, particularly for families who may not otherwise have the financial means to participate.

The impact of Hype 4 Life is not confined to one region. Its work resonates nationally while maintaining strong ties to communities like the DMV, where advocacy, culture, and community intersect. That connection is further strengthened through figures like Ivy Harrington, a Morgan State University alumna who has aligned her platform with the foundation’s mission. As the founder of the Most Valuable Pivot (MVP) initiative, Harrington mentors young women and student-athletes across the tri-state area, and through her “Most Valuable Puzzle Piece” series, she continues to amplify autism awareness and community impact.

Together, Brian Burns and Stanley McClover Jr. have built more than an organization—they’ve created a movement grounded in empathy, visibility, and action. Hype 4 Life Foundation stands as both a resource and a model, demonstrating how personal experience, when paired with intentional outreach and community engagement, can drive meaningful change for families everywhere.
