Kyara Redd Is Building Beauty, Business, and Confidence from the Ground Up

on

For Kyara Redd, beauty was never just about appearance—it became a pathway to ownership, independence, and legacy. As the founder and CEO of Whiplashed Beauty Bar, she turned a skill she picked up during the uncertainty of COVID-19 into a growing business and educational platform. What started in 2022 as a leap of faith quickly evolved into something bigger. Kyara didn’t just want to work for herself—she wanted to build something that would last, something her family could be proud of.

Today, she specializes in lash services and permanent makeup brows while also stepping fully into her role as an educator. But her journey wasn’t simple. She learned through trial and error and expensive lessons. That experience now fuels her mission: to give others the knowledge she once had to figure out on her own.

Kyara’s work extends far beyond the chair. In her classes, she teaches beginners the fundamentals of lashing, including sanitation, technique, and client care. However, what sets her apart is her focus on the bigger picture. She teaches business structure, mindset, and discipline alongside the craft.

Her classes are hands-on and intentional. Students don’t just watch—they practice, build confidence, and learn how to create income from their skills. She walks them through everything from proper lash application to setting up an LLC and attracting clients. By the end, participants leave with more than knowledge. They leave with a belief in themselves.

She also expands into digital products, including planners and journals focused on mindset, finances, and personal growth. For Kyara, success is not just about talent. It is about consistency, structure, and self-awareness. Her message is clear: discipline creates freedom.

Teaching What She Didn’t Receive

Kyara’s decision to teach came from a place of honesty. Early in her journey, she encountered environments where information felt limited or withheld. Instead of repeating that cycle, she chose to do the opposite.

“Iron sharpens iron,” she explains through her work. Her goal is to build others up, not compete with them.

She now mentors aspiring lash artists and entrepreneurs with transparency and intention. Whether it is answering questions, offering guidance, or sharing real experiences, she gives her students access to the knowledge that can change their lives. For her, it is not about gatekeeping—it is about growth.

Investing in the Next Generation

A major part of Kyara’s mission focuses on youth. She believes early exposure can shape an entirely different future. By teaching young women discipline, skill-building, and a business mindset early, she helps position them ahead of the curve.

Her approach encourages ownership. It shows that success is not limited by age. Instead of waiting, young people can start building now. Whether they pursue beauty or another path, the foundation remains the same—consistency, confidence, and commitment.

Building a Legacy Through Impact

The response to Kyara’s work has been powerful. Students return for advanced training. Many step into mentorship under her guidance. Others begin building their own businesses. What stands out most is the connection she creates. Clients and students often become like family, bonded through shared growth and trust.

Looking ahead, Kyara plans to expand her brand into a full beauty and education platform. She is preparing to host larger classes beyond Baltimore, with upcoming sessions planned in Washington, D.C. Her long-term vision includes a dedicated training space, online courses, and expanded product lines.

She is building more than a business. She is creating multiple streams of opportunity for herself and others.

At its core, Kyara Redd’s journey is about transformation. Not just through beauty, but through mindset, discipline, and access. She is proving that when knowledge is shared and systems are built, success becomes something others can reach too.
