Maryland Football Updates it 2022 Schedule
The University of Maryland has changed its schedule due to Big Ten changing some of the games around. The updated version of their schedule was released earlier today.
Maryland’s first four games remained unchanged while their first Big Ten conference game will be against Michigan on September 24. The games that changed were the ones scheduled against Purdue on Oct. 1, Indiana on Oct. 8, Wisconsin on Oct. 15, Rutgers on Oct. 29, and Michigan State on No. 26.
“The Terrapins are scheduled to play seven of their 12 games inside Maryland Stadium in 2022, marking the second straight season that will occur. Maryland will also play five home Big Ten games in College Park this upcoming season, marking the first time that has occurred since 2018. – Press Release
This past year the Terps finished 7-6, posting their first winning season since 2014. They also recorded their first bowl win since 2010, beating Virginia Tech 54-10 in the Pinstripe Bowl.
