Attorney Andrew Covington Expands Influence Across Music, Film, Fashion, and Business
Attorney Andrew Covington is quietly becoming one of the most influential legal figures working behind the scenes in entertainment, business, and media. As the founder of Covington Law PLLC, with offices in Raleigh, North Carolina and Washington, D.C., Covington has built a practice that reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of modern culture. His work spans music, fashion, film, spirits, and entrepreneurship, representing artists, producers, creatives, and companies as they navigate an industry where creativity and business strategy must operate hand in hand.
Covington’s legal portfolio includes a wide range of talent across the music industry, where he represents artists, producers, songwriters, and labels working at multiple levels of the business. His client roster includes rising artists such as YTB Fatt and Fox BD, along with established producers whose work has shaped the sound of contemporary hip-hop. Among them is Dun Deal on the Track, known for producing Young Thug’s breakout single “Stoner” and “Problem,” as well as Moneybagg Yo’s “Out of Town” and Lil Durk’s “In a Hole.” Producer JP on the Track is also among Covington’s clients, bringing credits that include Finesse2Tymes’ “CFWM,” EST Gee’s “My Love,” Juicy J’s “2 in the Morning,” Starlito’s “Chase Your Dreams,” Eddie Valero’s “Flex N Go,” and Don Trip’s “Baggage Claim.”
The roster continues with producers such as Klutch Frenchie, who has worked with Dee Mula and Moneybagg Yo, and Tavares Jordan, the producer behind Summer Walker’s platinum-certified single “Heart of a Woman.” Covington’s client list also includes artists and creatives like Autumn Paige, Big White Beats, T-Top, Dee Money, Lil Dre 556, Lil Benny, Jass Clutch, Ghoncho, Renee Harmoni, Big Joel, Lor Tyy, Lady BinLadin, and the label 1 of 1 Records. Digital media is also represented within his practice through content creator and YouTuber Lovely Seven.
Beyond artist representation, Covington has also helped structure business growth within the industry. He recently negotiated a joint venture for MAC Agency, originally known as a touring company, with Atlantic Records. The deal led to the creation of ADR (All Day Records), a fully operational label designed to expand the company’s reach beyond touring and into the broader music business.
Covington’s work extends into podcasting as well, where he represents Podpromax, a podcast production company building a platform in the growing digital media space.
His legal influence also reaches into fashion. Covington represents designer Able1Self, a luxury streetwear brand known for its precise tailoring and custom designs. The brand has created pieces for cultural figures and public personalities including 19Keys, hip-hop pioneer Big Daddy Kane, entrepreneur Mike Rashid, media personality Troy Mullings, Earn Your Leisure co-founder Rashad Bilal, television host Terrence J, and Boston Celtics star Jalen Brown. In addition to celebrity clients, the brand has built a reputation through bespoke designs for weddings, influencers, and cultural tastemakers. Covington’s role includes advising on brand protection, licensing, partnerships, and collaborations within entertainment.

Outside of entertainment and fashion, Covington also represents companies in the spirits and beverage industry, where branding and compliance are critical to long-term growth. His clients include Del Día Tequila, 712 Vodka, and Big Rack Spirits. His work in the sector involves navigating licensing regulations, managing compliance across state and federal agencies, and helping brands develop strategic partnerships in a heavily regulated marketplace.
Covington’s involvement in film further reflects his wide-ranging presence in the creative industries. In addition to his legal career, he has worked as both an actor and producer on several projects. He co-wrote, co-produced, and appeared in the film “Trapped,” which is currently available on Tubi. He also co-produced and appeared in “The Hunting Creek” and the upcoming film “A Pastor’s Son,” starring Dorian Wilson and scheduled for release in December. His on-screen credits also include appearances in “Luv and Lyrics” on Tubi and the upcoming project “Kash City.”
Through Covington Law PLLC, Andrew Covington has positioned himself at the center of multiple creative industries that increasingly overlap in today’s entertainment economy. With a client base that ranges from emerging artists to established producers, fashion designers, digital creators, and beverage brands, Covington’s work reflects a broader shift in how modern entertainment businesses are built. By combining legal strategy with cultural awareness and business development, he has become a trusted advisor for creatives and entrepreneurs looking to build lasting brands rather than short-term moments.
